EatWell for iPhone?

EatWell was born over 2 years ago as an excel spreadsheet, which was used effectively by my wife and I for managing our diet for weight loss.

At the time I considered creating an iPhone application based on the spreadsheet functions, but the small screen size of the phone presented some problems that I thought made the application unsuitable for an iPhone app.

When iPad was released I was keen to write something useful for the device (side note: I don't enjoy building software that I don't believe in). EatWell was a project I felt others may find useful and the iPad was perfect.

When I showed my friends a demo of EatWell, almost all of them asked if I'd create a version for the iPhone. Since that time I've been rethinking the idea. I'm still not really convinced it is a suitable device for EatWell, but I am considering it.

Version 1.1 Submitted

Version 1.1 was submitted to the Apple AppStore approximately 7 days ago. It contains minor bug fixes. Hopefully it will be available soon.

Welcome to the EatWell blog!

This blog will eventually replace the EatWell website and support pages at etherware.org.
It's my intention to use this site to foster conversation between myself and users of EatWell.

I'll address common questions, add hints and tips as well as provide updates about
upcoming EatWell development and ideas.

Please feel free to comment on any aspect of the application or the site.

I'll do my best to provide help and answers.
